Interview tips!

Good going! You landed some interviews and now it’s time for a plan! Don’t worry! We asked some of our recruiters here at The Goodkind Group for some of their favorite interview tips. Adjust accordingly and add them to your repertoire!

  1. Be prepared:

Take time to research the employer. This will make you more confident in the role you are applying for.

  1. Be yourself:

Show your personality-relax and be comfortable and approachable. You won’t want the interviewer to assess someone you’re pretending to be.

  1. Answer questions with confidence:

When asked about your accomplishments and strengths, pick some examples that illustrate your best qualities in the workplace. By the same token, be honest when asked about your weaknesses and provide examples to show how you’re working on them.

  1. Practice, practice, practice:

Get your family and friends involved. Practice interview questions (in person and over the phone) and ask for constructive criticism.

  1. Say thank you:

Taking the time to say thank you goes a long way. This is your chance to say again why you want and fit the job! Proofread and spellcheck, please!
